A silver medallist in the International Piano Recording Competition in 1980, she has given recitals in America and London. On this occasion her programme is an attractive mix of Poulenc, Beethoven, Ginastera, Chopin and Prokofiev.

to popular demand, the Theatre Royal’s 1986 Christmas Show is a revival of Scottish Opera’s 1979 production of Fiddler on the Roof. This time it’s presented in association with a new company, the Scottish Singers Company, formed by Bill McCue, who sins Tevye the milkman. Scots comedy actress Una McLean plays his wife.
