Performed by forty schoolchildren from the Gaelic Bilingual Unit ofthe St John Maxwell Primary School. For all ages. Gaelic and non-Gaelic speakers.
Across the Barricades 6 Dec. 2.30pm. £1. adults £2. The sequel to Joan Lingard‘s Twelfth Day ofJuly which TAG adapted and toured around schools in an impressive production last Nov. Using the same characters. Kevin (Catholic) and Sadie (Protestant) it looks at what it means to live. and develop a relationship. in a divided religious community. It will also be a springboard for lots of discussion. Currently touring secondary schools (for 13 years +) this is the only public performance in Glasgow. Also see St Mark's Church Hall. Edinburgh.

St Nicholas Day Celebrations Sat 6 Dec. From 11am. An open invitation for young people to enjoy Victorian-style Christmas festivities. It is held on 6 Dec to celebrate St Nicholas‘ Day. the legendary original Santa Claus and patron saint ofchildren. The centrepiece will be a big Christmas tree festooned with the decorations made by children in the gallery's Christmas Competition. Prizegiving for the competition will be at 11.30am. There is still just time to dash off an entry. closing date 29 Nov. Open to 4—16 year-olds. Please let gallery know in advance ifyou are going to the St Nicholas Day Celebration.
