‘I hope it’ll tit,’ says The People Show’s Mark Long ot the revolving set soon to be crammed into Edinburgh's Theatre Workshop as part at the theatre’s 21st birthday celebrations (see Listings).
Now on its Qtst surreal spectacular, and about as old as the Workshop, the People Show (based in London) is so called because it is the sum of its human parts, be they performers or technicians. Do the other hand, “The Prop Show’ might be as accurate a description. Says Mark, one of the earliest members of the director-less crew, “I’d say we ad-lib. Itwe improvised, the set would probably run us over.’
