Scotland and India Fri 6 J une—Late Sept. An interesting display of material from the Library’s own collection and swords, uniforms and other objects from museums all over the country. The exhibition will show the relationship between the two countries up to 1947 when Scotland was very actively involved in Indian life.

Scaipture Park (Spring Fling). If you haven’t heard of David Mach’s tyre Parthenon it won’t be for the want of media exposure. It’s a crazy, wonderful idea which changes the shape of the gardens for a short time and makes peOple stop for a moment and double take a familiar landscape. Other artists included in this open air gallery are Doug Cooker, Frances Pelly, Alf Loehr from Germany, Martin Rayner and Bernard Pages from Nice.
