Sung in English. The last performance marks almost exactly Scottish Opera‘s 10th Anniversary of having the Theatre Royal as its home.

It's not so much the usual good sprinkling but rather a generous pouring oi tamous names making guest appearances with the SCO this year. (Teresa Berganza, The Kings Singers, Simon Hattie, Alired Grendel, Marisa Robles, Peter Maxwell Davies, Jorge Bolet, Mltsulto Uchlda . . .), some oi them and we trust this is not an economy measure due to restrained ilnances - not only playing, but conducting too. One such is Australian born horn player Barry Tuckwell who, as part oi the orchestra’s policy not just to tour abroad, joins the SCO tor a UK
