Katherine McLaughlin delves into the archive of Japanese anime giants Studio Ghibli as almost their entire body of work becomes available to stream on Netflix
O ver the last few months, Netflix have been adding Studio Ghibli titles to their streaming service in batches. April marks the final delivery from the legendary Japanese animation studio, and provides ideal family viewing. Founded in 1985 by directors Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli has produced 22 feature-length films and Netflix has given its viewers access to all except one, Grave of the Fireflies. There are options to watch the films with dubbing by Hollywood actors or in their original form with subtitles.
