ART OF GLASS New exhibition celebrates the beauty of glass art In partnership with the Lincolnshire-based National Centre for Craft & Design, this upcoming exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland looks at the creative ways that artists manipulate the medium of glass. From functional objects to artworks, the display will expose the different ways in which glass items can be made, and highlights the work of leading glass artists like Geoffrey Mann, Emma Woffenden, Erin Dickson and Perthshire-based artist Pinkie Maclure, whose modern stained glass work ‘Beauty Tricks’ is pictured here. ■ National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, Fri 6 Apr–Sun 16 Sep.
