F eel trapped in oncoming waves of Snowmageddon? We're keeping our fingers crossed that Spring is just around the corner – and there's loads to do around town as you long for the onset of warmer, sunnier days.
We're super excited about the start of festival season – this year's Hidden Door returns to Leith (page 36), and the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival is now in an earlier Spring slot (page 30). Plus, the Edinburgh International Science Festival is back (page 23) and the Southside Fringe once again pulls together a packed programme of comedy, music and performance (page 41).
Elsewhere, we get excited about Edinburgh-spotting in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War (page 66), take a look at the new series of Westworld (page 126) and even check out what might be in store in Teletubbies Live – spoiler alert: Noo Noo makes an appearance (page 75). Also in this issue, you'll find our Art & Design 2018 special – a bumper section celebrating Scotland's artistic talent and some of its best creative spaces. Look out for features on this year's Glasgow International (page 108), the opening of V&A Dundee (page 110), the best galleries outside the central belt (page 115) and highlights of the year coming up (page 124).
And we're thrilled to be releasing the 25th edition of our annual Eating and Drinking Guide on Wed 18 Apr – keep your eyes peeled for all the award winners and hitlisted restaurants that week, and follow the action at #listeatdrink

EATING & DRINKING GUIDE Another landmark in The List's history arrives with the 25th anniversary of our Eating & Drinking Guide. Ahead of its latest edition, we reflect on the restaurants, cafes, bars, bistros and brasseries that made the grade down the years. Yummy.
D E S IG N ART & DESIGN Among the features in this special supplement are a spotlight on Dundee (the V&A is finally coming!), highlights from Glasgow International and hot gallery spaces far from the central belt. Plus, a bunch of our favourite artists pick works they love in Scotland's permanent collections.
