LOVING General release from Fri 3 Feb Based on the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving (Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), a married couple from Virginia who were arrested in 1958 and found guilty of the then-crime
of miscegenation (he was white, she was black.) Quietly assured drama with outstanding performances and understated dignity. See review, page 58. TONI ERDMANN General release from Fri 3 Feb When Winfried (Peter Simonischek) visits his adult daughter Ines (Sandra Hüller) in Romania, he thinks that she takes life too seriously, and decides to play pranks on her.
