WIN A 10-FILM EARLY BIRD PASS TO GLASGOW FILM FESTIVAL 2015
Glitzy gala premieres, unique pop-up cinema experiences and a city alive with the sound of the movies. Glasgow Film Festival returns for 2015 with another accessible, affordable, audience-focused programme. This year, raise a tinny to Australian cinema (both new releases and a few cheeky classics) with new programme strand Strewth and commemorate Ingrid Bergman’s centenary in Here’s Looking At You, Kid, a series of films looking over the Swedish star’s career. For the first time, GFF branches out into child- friendly cinema with the Modern Families strand, while Cinema City celebrates Glasgow’s history both as a setting for numerous films and as a city hooked on the silver screen. The full programme will be announced on Wed 21 Jan at glasgowfilm.org/festival
Glasgow Youth Film Festival, a weekend of films programmed by and for teenagers and young people, runs from 6-8 Feb, and the special event-laden, perfectly formed Glasgow Short Film Festival runs from 11-15 Mar.
