Largs ✽ Kelburn Garden Party Kelburn Castle and Country Centre, Fairlie, 01475 568685. 4pm. £89–£99 (children free). Kelburn Castle provides the fairytale setting for this eccentric music festival. The graffiti project for which Kelburn is known is just one of the items of hand-made décor, art and lighting that make the event a feast for all the senses. Four stages and various pop-up nooks host the musical programme – an eclectic mix of Scottish talent from the avant garde and experimental to the accessible. There is also a plethora of events for children. 2014’s line-up includes Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Red Snapper, The Nextmen, Dolphin Boy, Bombskare, Soom T Meets J*Star, Bevvy Sisters and many more.
