FUCK BUTTONS A year after breaking into the UK Top 40 album charts with the widely acclaimed Slow Focus, and two years on from being hurled into the perception of roughly 900 million people after Danny Boyle used their music in the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, London-based experimental noise duo Fuck Buttons return to Scotland, bringing their cacophonous, layered, synthy wall of sound with them. Known individually as Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power, the pair will be playing their first Edinburgh show in five years, and they’ll be joined by synth-pop trio Eaux. ■ Liquid Room, Edinburgh, Sun 4 May.
