The Scottish Album of the Year Award will return for a third year on Thu 24 April with the announcement of a brand new, twenty-strong longlist featuring the best albums released in 2013.
Drawn from the nominations of 100 people across the Scottish music industry and the arts, The SAY Award longlist champions the extraordinary strength and diversity of albums released by Scottish artists each year. The longlist of twenty will become a shortlist of ten following an announcement on 29 May before the winning album – which picks up a £20,000 first prize - is chosen at the award ceremony held in Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on 19 June.
