From 5–20 April, Edinburgh International Science Festival will be focusing on science at the heart of . . . everything, with an inspiring programme of events, exhibitions and happenings, featuring scientists, artists and makers. Those who like their science sociable should
look no further than mini-festival GastroFest – a smorgasbord of culinary chemistry, molecular mixology and serious food for thought. Then there’s LateLab an inspirational wunderkammer of talks, performances, interactives and installations. If you’d like to get your teeth into something more serious, there are bite-sized lunchtime talks and a Referendum series where scientists, politicians, academics and the public debate the big question facing our nation.
