COSPLAY RED CARPET PARADE The Glasgow Youth Film Festival is once again joining forces with Scotland Loves Anime to present a mystery anime screening, complete with a cosplay red carpet parade beforehand. Anyone interested in coming along is encouraged to wear the most exuberant, manga-style outfit they can put together, as well as getting involved ahead of time by following clues from the GYFF’s social media to figure out what the film might be. Some advance tips: it’s a UK premiere, and it’s unlikely to be The Wind Rises (Hayao Mizaki’s final film) or manga adap Blue Exorcist, as they’ll be screening earlier in the day. ■ GFT, Glasgow, Sun 9 Feb.
