French fashion designers agnès b. and Yves Saint Laurent both feature in this year’s Glasgow Film Festival. Dress-down- chic lover, Agnès Troublé will be giving a Masterclass with agnès b. (GFT, Glasgow, Tue 25 Feb), where she’ll discuss the making of her debut feature, My Name is hmmm. . . (screened GFT, Glasgow, Mon 24 Feb), while tailoring fetishist YSL (RIP) gets the biopic treatment in Yves Saint Laurent (screening at the GFT, Glasgow, Tue 25 Feb & Wed 26 Feb). Those peddlers of sublime Scandinavian homewares, design and furniture, Bra Bohag, are back on Edinburgh’s Easter Road. After its sad closure last August, it’s back in business once more. The owners will be selling mid-century art while they wait to hear how their re-application for a second- hand dealers license goes, and if all goes well, hope to return to furniture selling in a few months.
