Which makes them a perfect n addition to Edinburgh’s already bursting, and a no less inspired, New Year’s Day programme, n Scot:Lands. Essentially a magical mystery S tour of Edinburgh through the city’s Old Town, t Scot:Lands consists of nine ‘worlds’, each one S created by some of Scotland’s top musicians, c dancers and artists, and performed in unique d spaces in the city. The premise is simple yet s intricate, with audiences encouraged to collect i their Scot:Lands map from the Home:Land that t is the National Museum of Scotland on Wed 1 i Jan, and join in the fun. Highlights of the day will J undoubtedly include Shadow:Land, a bespoke u production of Cora Bissett’s award-winning p multidisciplinary show Whatever Gets You m Through the Night; Lobster:Land, curated by the T mighty King Creosote, joined by Withered Hand; m and NewFOUND:Land from the BAFTA-winning a art collective FOUND, with RM Hubbert and a Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Emily Scott E joining them for good measure. j
