SUBLIME FREQUENCIES FILM NIGHT Those who caught mesmerising Saharan psych-guitarists Group Inerane when they played Kinning Park Complex two years ago may remember a quick but warm introduction from Hisham Mayet, co-owner of Sublime Frequencies, their record label home. Mayet returns to Scotland for a screening of his new film Vodoun Gods on the Slave Coast and will give a talk covering everything from working with desert guitar bands, his on-the-road stories, and er, possession ceremonies in Africa’s Sahel region.
