THE PHEROMOANS Are you fed up with the incessant posturing of rock riffage? Does the relentless outpouring of lovestruck pop lyrics bore you? Do you hold out hope for someone who appreciates the value of dry wit; a deadpan deliverer of pithy putdowns to snipe at these over-emotive morons from the sidelines with perfectly detached apathy? Then you, oh morose music-lover, are in luck, for here comes Russell Walker, lead singer with DIY indie-punks The Pheromoans. The sardonic six-piece have just released their latest album, Does This Guy Stack Up?, and are travelling up from deepest, darkest Bromley to share their lo-fi observations with those of us who reside north of the border.
