GHOST, GOJIRA AND THE DEFILED A god bothering bill of proper metal. Headed by the facepaint splattered disciples of Satan, Ghost, who are fronted by the enigmatic anti-pope Papa Emeritus these Swedish metallers specialise in Black Sabbath- heavy declarations of subservience to the Dark Lord. Backed up by the brutal intelligent prog metal of France’s Gojira; British upstarts The Defiled and a last minute addition to the line-up with Glasgow alt- rockers Dead Til Friday opening up proceedings. A terrifying quadruple bill - and just a fiver in - result! ■ The ABC, Glasgow, Thu 21 Mar, see Rock & Pop listings.
