THE AISLERS SET In the current climate of ten-a-penny band reformations there are a number of artists who never quite received the recognition they deserved first time around. Indie-pop outfit The Aislers Set sadly fell into this category despite being showered with praise from John Peel and touring with Yo La Tengo, Belle and Sebastian and The Shins. Luckily for them their three-album output has taken on a cult following which has led to a string of reunion dates for the San Francisco five-piece. This Glasgow show features a stellar line-up, including Stevie Jackson of Belle and Sebastian plus support from Camera Obscura and Pastels DJs. (Jack Taylor) Mono, Glasgow, Mon 19 Nov.
