Neu! Reekie! at Jim Lambie’s Poetry Club
Glasgow visual artist Jim Lambie has set up a new venue under one of the railway arches beside SWG3, and according to the organisers of its first event, ‘it’s gonna create huge ripples for Scottish culture’. This Friday night event is the first time Jim’s Club will be open to the public to poke around – and features music per- formances by Lomond Campbell (the solo guise of Ziggy from FOUND, pictured), Edinburgh School for the Deaf, animation by Iain Gardner, plus spoken word readings by Neu! Reekie!’s very own Michael Pederson. ■ Neu Reekie, at Jim Lambie’s new Club on Fri 21 September, see facebook.com/neureekie for more info.
