Boys Noize
Headline shows on both coasts from Alexander Ridha (better known as German producer Boys Noize) with a solid dose of stomping electro. Kicking off with a live set at the O2 ABC before heading down the M8 to finish off the night DJing at the HMV Picture House. ‘Towards the end of the 90s I was a warm up DJ playing deep house but it got boring and repetitive,’ explains Ridha. ‘There were too many DJs and producers doing the same and that was when I became a friend of electro.’ The rest, as they say, is history. ■ O2 ABC, Glasgow, Thu 9 Oct; HMV Picture House, Edinburgh, Thu 9 Oct.
