Carla Scott Fullerton A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art’s MFA programme and the winner of the Glasgow Sculpture Studios 2008 MFA Graduate Fellowship Prize, Carla Scott Fullerton has built a reputation for sculptural works exploring the different material processes involved in construction and deconstruction. This includes working with heavy industrial materials such as cement and steel to create deliberately imperfect forms, free of the traditional notions that govern architecture. Her current exhibition, Hard Edge, Soft Line, which runs at the David Dale Gallery & Studios until Sun 30 Sep, is typically inspired by her interest in materials and the ephemeral nature of all things monumental.
