5 QUESTIONS

PERFORMING THEIR FIRST KIDS SHOW ON THE FRINGE, COMIC FEET WARMERS THE SCOTTISH FALSETTO SOCK PUPPETS SLIP US SOME INFORMATION. 1. What 5 things should we know about you? ‘We’re not a kids show! Except this year, we’re also doing a kids show. We also do our brand new show of songs, sketches, socks and violence at 10.40pm. This is our fifth year at the Fringe (that’s five hours of nonsense under our belts. If we had belts)We’re originally from Aberdeen, though we’ve lost the accent fit like. I’m a Sock, and so is he.’

2. Give 4 reasons why people should see your show, Chunky Woollen Nits It’s the first time we’ve ever done a show that 7-year-olds can watch; we’ve always said we were for grown-ups aged 12 and over, because of some sweary words and subjects that kids wouldn’t understand; we realised at this year’s Adelaide Fringe that if we took out the rude bits, we were probably even funnier; so far this family- friendly show has had three five- star reviews, our best ever! 3. The 3 best things about being part of the Fringe? ‘Hanging out with our fellow Socks. Comedians hang out in bars, we hang out on a big celebrity washing line; meeting people from all over the world, enticing them into our show, then watching them gape in awe and wonder, mostly because they don’t speak English; being in Edinburgh, which is like the Athens of the North, except it’s not bankrupt and there’s a lot less Taramasalata.
