FOLK Music
Holy Other plays this Glasgow date ahead of the release of his first album Held, (out on 28 Aug)- the follow up to his acclaimed debut EP ‘With U’ from 2011. Mixing house with UK garage and R&B, Holy Other creates music which is melancholic, ethereal and haunting; having been largely influenced by gregorian chant. While his previous EP was about the breakdown of a relationship, his new album focuses on the confinements of one - taking the listener on an emotional ride.
