Books, Borders & Bikes
It’s just a short trip out of town to the Borders for this festival of literature and cycling. Perhaps an odd mix but a suitably tranquil one for the grounds of Traquair House with guests including Mark Thomas (pictured), Raja Shehadeh, Aminatta Forna and Sir Menzies Campbell alongside bike rides and nature walks. ■ Traquair House, Innerleithen, Sat 18 & Sun 19 Aug.
