RSPBA World Pipe Band Championships
Big fan of the caber toss? Head down to the Green for this family-friendly day of competitions, which will fill any shot putt-shaped hole in your summer calendar, pitting the world’s strongest men and women against each other in the Glasgow World Highland Games. The international heavyweights of traditional music showcase their skills against local performers in the Drum Major contest, with highland dance performances and youth activities happening throughout the day.
