WHO’S AROUND YOUR BIT OF TOWN?
Name: Georgine Hendry Age: 21
Occupation: Music student Lives: Edinburgh
Favourite places to eat and drink? I’m probably most regularly at Elephants and Bagels. The food is really good and you can just wander in there and pick up a bagel. It’s on Marshall Street right next to my music department so it’s very handy.
Best day out/night out? On a day out, I prefer something that isn’t too active – just a sunny day on the Meadows chilling out – even better, a sunny day on the Meadows with a barbeque. At night, I love the Jazz Bar on Chambers Street. Favourite quiet spot or hidden gem? I actually like the top of Calton Hill – it’s a nice quiet spot to sit and relax. (Sian Lower)
