Edinburgh Rocks Music Awards

Edinburgh Rocks, in association with The List, are putting on an awards bash to highlight the club talent in this fine city as well as a top notch afterparty featuring Huggy, Yogi Haughton and a headliner still to be revealed at a mystery location (that won’t be announced until the night itself). With the closure of Cab Vol and the Bongo under threat it really is a crucial time for the capital’s clubbing community, as organiser Niall Auld points out: ‘Never has there been a more important chapter in Edinburgh clubland’s history than now for us to recognise, reward and show a collective appreciation towards the talents and achievements of the city’s finest clubs, DJs, promoters and venues.’ A panel of industry experts will vote on DJ’s DJ of the Year, Resident of the Year, Best Techno Night, Best House Night and more, and if you’d like your say on who wins Fan’s DJ of the Year, Fan’s Club Night of the Year, Venue of the Year, Event of the Year and DJ lifetime nomination log onto bit.ly/edinburghrocks.
