Edinburgh’s City Art Centre is about to unveil an ambitious new exhibition of works by some of the most prominent Scottish contemporary tapestry artists. The 16 featured artists are all graduates of the former Tapestry Dept at Edinburgh College of Art and members of Scottish Tapestry Artists Regrouped (S.T.A.R.*) – their ranks include former artistic directors of the Dovecot, Archie Brennan and Joanne Soroka.
