A contemporary retelling of the Oedipus myth from Scottish Opera and Music Theatre Wales, working together with the Traverse Theatre for the third year running. This visceral, punchy version, by Mark-Anthony Turnage, who in turn adapted it from the play by Steven Berkoff, was first performed in 1988 and takes the action to London’s seedy East End.
