The sun may have been in and out like a fiddler’s elbow this past few weeks, but that didn’t stop the good people of Glasgow attempting some summery, bare-ankled, jacketless and floral looks (despite the constant threat of a monsoon downpour)

I shop on the High Street – I just do a bit too much of it. I’ve got no money left! The blouse, shoes and belt are all New Look.
The necklaces were from Sloans, and the clothes are River Island or eBay. I added chains to this Zara bag, and studs on the boots, which are Primark. The headband is from Camden Market. I found the glasses at RockNess and I’ve had this necklace since I was little. The rest is from Mr Ben, or borrowed off my flatmate.
The skirt is River Island, the jacket is H&M, the tights are my mum’s.

My glasses are fake Ray Bans. They were a dollar in Cambodia last year. The shoes, shirt and necklace were all charity shop finds.
The shirt came from a vintage shop in London, and the bag was TK Maxx. I made the fixie bike myself. The belt used to be my grandad’s and the shorts are Topshop. This bag was from Mr Ben.

A CIRCUS THEME is going on down at the Red Door Gallery, to celebrate the annual arrival of colourful freaks and uniques for the Edinburgh Festival. Works by Adam Brigland, The Lindstrom Effect, Mina Braun and Lovely Pigeon (check out her DIY Circus Kits, pictured) will all embrace the bearded ladies, ringmasters and acrobats of circus-land in a special August window exhibition.
