Dance like there’s nobody watching As a wise man once said, you can’t start a fire without a spark. However, now you can go dancing in the dark, as the No Lights, No Lycra craze has finally arrived in Glasgow. Starting in Melbourne in 2009 and spreading worldwide soon after, NLNL is a midweek, drugs, alcohol and inhibition-free hour of dancing like nobody can see you – because they can’t! The lights are out! Rediscover your love of dipping, popping, crunking and shaking it, without fear of looking like an idiot. You might want to watch the expressive hand gestures, though – you could have someone’s eye out. (Laura Ennor and Kirstin Innes) ■ No Lights No Lycra, Vic Café Bar, Glasgow School of Art, every Thursday, 6pm (£2 suggested donation)
