Pressure, Colours and Death Disco team up for a monstrous New Year special. Two tartan-tinged burlesque shows at this reliable staple of the Glasgow scene, while DJ Loveless plays vintage and modern music. The 90s are fair game for a nostalgia night now that a decade has passed, says this monthly night, and who are we to argue? With 90s bingo from 9pm.

An alternative Christmas party from the independent live music promoters. Playing live will be Runners, Gummy Stumps and Tut Vu Vu, while artist and cartoonist David Shrigley will be among the DJs. ■ Deadmau5 at Braehead Arena. 17 Dec, 6pm–midnight. £22.50. Progressive house from the Deadmau5 roadshow featuring big name support from Magnetic Man and DJ support from Calvin Harris and Zane Lowe. As if the Deadmau5 gig at Braehead Arena won’t be massive enough, he’ll be hosting this official aftershow into the night. The whole thing will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 1, with guests including Calvin Harris (DJ Set), Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Skream & Benga and UNION. Note: Deadmau5 will not be playing at this show. No tracksuits, baseball caps or scruffy trainers.
