We love a bit of Hallowe’en action (as you can probably tell by our extensive coverage in the rest of the mag), which is why we don’t really mind that the distinctly unspooky-sounding Parisian indie-dance- poppers Jamaica have been included in the line-up for the Death Disco-affiliated ‘Spooky Sounds’ Hallowe’en special. The French electro duo were formerly known as Poney Poney, and had such admirable associations as Xavier de Rosnay of Justice, CSS and 2manydjs. Arches, Glasgow, Fri 29 Oct.
