Sometimes Xplict books guests that are just too big for the Bongo Club to contain, such as the irrepressible drum & bass sounds of Brazil’s hottest export since Pele, DJ Marky. At the forefront of the South American D&B scene, Marky almost gave up on DJing before a trip to London in 1997 where he wowed the likes of DJ Hype, Goldie and in particular Bryan Gee with his skills. Thank the lord for that trip as we’d have lost one of jungle’s most exciting spinners if he’d abandoned the decks.
