Research Manager With SCOTLAND’S LEADING ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE PUBLISHER
The Research Manager’s prime responsibility is to maintain and develop our position as market leader for arts and entertainment listings in Scotland.
The List is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the day-to-day operations of the Research Team which includes researchers and a database developer. The List has a well established reputation for publishing and supplying high quality listings, editorial content and research services to organisations and other media across Scotland. We have recently begun to roll out our website (www.list.co.uk) beyond Scotland including events across the UK and the Research Manager will play a signifi cant role in building on this exciting new initiative.
We are looking for someone who can lead by example and has an active interest in the Scottish arts and entertainment scene. The Research Manager will work closely with our award winning digital, editorial and commercial teams and will be responsible for helping to establish The List’s reputation across the UK. Experience of working with databases together with great attention to detail, a concise writing style and the ability to both manage and motivate staff and meet tight deadlines are essential to the role. We seek a person with editorial and organisational skills who also has an interest in developing their technical and digital expertise.
The position is a full time post based in our busy Edinburgh offi ce with a salary according to experience.
