The Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival is set to return next month with another fantastic programme. Not only do they have the best of contemporary stand-up, they also have films, theatre, workshops and children’s shows. The Glasgow Film Festival (18–28 Feb) is back and we have 25 pairs of tickets to give away to The List Surprise Film on Saturday 27 February. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, ‘The Surprise Film is like a box of
chocolates – you never know what you’re gonna get.’ Last year we even surprised ourselves by showing O’Horten which proved to be one of the year’s loveliest foreign-language films. Previous surprises include Inland Empire and Son Of Rambow. Maybe it really is time for a great big Hollywood blockbuster?
