Gifted alto-saxophonist Towndrow brings in two guests from Slovakia, vibraphonist Miroslav Herak and pianist Michal Vanoucek, for a UK tour. She’s sung with Fairport Convention and the Oyster Band, with whom she memorably covered the Velvet Underground’s ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’.
