Located below the magnificently restored church in St Andrew’s Square, Café Source offers an informal dining experience for those wanting to sample some big gutsy “real” Scottish fare.
The name Café Source was chosen to refl ect the restaurant’s aim of providing the best of Scottish fare
courtesy of the many Scottish farmers, fi shermen and merchants who continue to distribute only the
best of quality.
The entrance is located to the side of the church and on entering you will find several large sofas located on each side of the restaurant for those simply
wanting to enjoy a relaxing drink from the bar before
or after their meal.
It is no surprise then that traditional favourites like haggis, stovies, west coast mussels, scotch pie and the mouth watering Cullen Skink figure on the menu. However you will also find more contemporary dishes such as Braised Shin of Beef, Confited Lamb Shank,
Slow-Roasted Belly of Ramsay’s Pork and Goats Cheese Galantine to name but a few. Soups and
specials change on a daily basis offering more choice
and with an excellent choice of Malt Whisky, fi ne wines, Scottish and continental beers and lagers you will find Café Source a truly relaxing place to enjoy a
taste of Scotland
