The University of Edinburgh Festivals Office is looking for a number of temporary staff for their venues for this year's Fringe (Sth -3lst August 2009).
We are looking for flexible and enthusiastic members of staff who enjoy team work, have experience working within a theatre and have a passion for the arts.
Front of House - will act as venue representative to customers and companies and ensure that a proactive attitude is taken towards all aspects of the job at all times while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Previous theatre experience would be ideal.
Bar / Cafe Staff - previous bar experience preferred.
Box Office - to take ticket bookings on the telephone and in person using a computerised ticketing system. Working in a very busy environment, dealing with customers and company members. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

MacPhersons Rant is a brand new mu5ical featuring traditional Scottish songs. Combining the sounds of Traditional Scottish and Celtic Roots music with very modern arrangements to create startling new versions of classic Scottish folk songs such as; Ye Jacobites, Twa Recruiting Sergeants, Ye Banks and Braes, and The Roving Journeyman.
The show will have its world premiere in Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh and you can be part of it.
