The manipulate Visual Theatre Festival continues with the return of 1927‘s multi-award-winning darkly beautiful journey through sinister visual landscapes, which takes in weird cross-dressing twins, homicidal sisters and gun-toting gingerbread men. The piece, which was the toast of the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe, combines the look of silent films with animation and live music to create a theatrical vision inspired by the likes of artist Edward Gorey and filmmaker David Lynch.
