Boxstar Assistant Producer (Full time) For one of the UK’s leading youth theatres!
The successful candidate will have a key role in the organisation as a member
of Boxstar, WLYT's film and new media facility. They will have specific post-production responsibility and assist with the planning and delivery of film and drama workshops. There will be opportunities for training and development within this role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to develop, plan and deliver WLYT's special educational needs workshop programme. holiday and performance projects across West Lothian. The position requires inclusive advocacy work and the further development of Salmagundi, WLYT's inclusive theatre provision. the work has included Hamlet at the Traverse, Edinburgh and is currently on tour with Monsters which will finale at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2008.

Compiling accurate and informative listings is at the heart of what we do and the successful applicant will help research forthcoming events taking place across Scotland, maintain strong relationships with key arts venues and organisations and prepare data for publication.
We are looking for someone who is articulate and organised with a sharp eye for detail and has the ability to work to deadlines.
A clear, confident writing style is essential. Knowledge of database systems, XML and Quark Express would be a distinct advantage.
The position is in our Edinburgh office and would involve around 25 hours/week in September and shift work thereafter (at least one day/week), with a possible full-time role arising in the future.
