Messing around with paint, glue and glitter is fun at any age, so why should kids have all the fun? Although aimed primarily at 3-12-year-olds, the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) Family Festival encourages
everyone to get involved.
‘The day is open to all ages,’ says Learning & Access Curator, Frances McCourt. ‘Family learning is a key focus of the Learning & Access department generally, and we like to encourage adults to get involved and explore their creativity along with the children.’ Now in its fourth year, the Family Festival features a host of activities, including art workshops, badge making, storytelling and live music from Newcastle-based
