Where do I start? Booking bands; meeting with promoters; seeking out new artists; updating the website; organising club nights with high-profile DJs; running to the Supermarket to buy catering riders; talking A LOT on the phone; arranging promotional material; preparing contracts; hanging out on band tour buses . . . and general networking on a daily basis within the music industry.
Working seven days a week for weeks on end . . . but every day being completely different. Never a dull moment . . . ever.

It‘s really important to be involved in the industry in some way whether it‘s working behind the bar or becoming a runner for a promoter. Starting at the roots of this business allows you to experience everything about my job.
Hopefully still here. pushing the club forward and ensuring that it continues to succeed as one of Scotland‘s best- loved live music venues and nightclubs.
Do you have an hour? I have some wild and crazy stories to tell you. The Ioveable young lads from indie bands such as The Cribs. Fratellis and The View always perform well but it‘s the after-parties that are controversial and lets just say ‘interesting’. Probably the
most memorable for me are the old skool hip hop dudes:
they are really wild. A concoction of champagne and loose women makes for an interesting night! Coolio. Ice-T and De La Soul did not disappoint with some unforgettable and unmentionable antics which will definitely feature in the book I have sworn I will pen one day!
