the play is minimally adjusted to fit the setting, as l ngland and Scotland become the teuding nations and Christianity the governing religion. As we follow our mischievous guide through the narrow winds, we equate the ineVItability of our late with that ot the characters, as. unacknowltxlged, except by the narrator, we observe the actions of ghostly presences, an illusion which is unfortunately and unntx;essarily broken when the guide becomes part of the action.
On rare occasions the space isn't utilised to its full potential, including unimaginatively seating us in rows to observe one scene, destroying the intimacy that the rest of the production works so hard to create.

When private detective, Patrick Bett. becomes the victim of a violent ambush and finds himself trapped on the fringes of reality. could a mystery woman, and the case she presents him with, pull him back from the jaws of death? Staged in a cut-out square.

Police are being given more money to conduct surveillance on suspected terrorists and the public are being asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. It is understandable in the context of the war on terror but you have to wonder whether, as is suggested in this piece. we are in danger of persecuting the innocent under the guise of creating a safer world.
Following a bombing in Glasgow, the police are conducting a surveillance operation on a suspected terrorist, but are their suspicions justified or are events in their private lives clouding their judgement? This piece is highly topical in the wake of recent events at Glasgow airport, but it raises too many questions which remain unanswered, leaving a general feeling of dissatisfaction. Characters are underdeveloped and too much has been left unsaid. suggesting that, with a bit more work, it could be the beginnings of a better, full-length piece. (Nicola Husband)
