group, for he is Daryl Palumbo, whose spectacular vocal chords made beautiful the vitriolic metal maulings of New Jersey’s Glassjaw. The band were scheduled to set stages alight back in 2003 but Palumbo’s ill health meant they never arrived. This jaunt will make up for it in the short term, as he showcases his band who sound not unlike the Beastie Boys playing Jam songs with Alex Kapranos as musical director. Not one for his devoted rock contingent but more than enough for anyone not in league with Beelzebub.
