Mom’ set them up as world-beaters but they failed to cash in on the song’s success in the UK and remain a relative cult concern. Their sound owes as much of a debit to Squeeze and early Oasis as it does to the daddies of the genre, Weezer. These geeks are unlikely to inherit the earth but they do make it feel a little better.
