MOVE OVER ALLEN Re: Kate Nash (572)
After reading your preview of Kate Nash at King Tut's last week I got myself down there. and she blew me away! I am a big fan of Lin Allen but seeing Nash has far surpassed my need for Allen. so thanks for the heads up on this one. You have officially created a number one fan.

WHERE HAS ALL THE LOVE GONE? Re: I saw you
Why have there been considerably less 'I Saw You ads in the last two issues? Instead of filling half a page they have been reduced to little over a quarter. Are people not seeing each other anymore? Are yOu idare I say iti leaving some out? How do you expect the shy to declare their love? I'd hate to see the institution disappear. Let's have a campaign to make it a two-page spread in future issues.

I was inspired to get active by the last issue of the maga/ine and am now a convert to the Joys of mountain biking. I have lived in Edinburgh all my life and I'd never heard of the Glentress bicycle tracks before. I've JUSI had a week off work and spent practically every day down there. cycling
and enjoying the scenery in the sunshine. I've booked up for a course next month and I've already progressed on from the easiest tracks.

It's been an excellent day. The staff were brilliant and the kids really felt a sense of achievement.

My fav0urite bit was the Egyptian bit because my favourite ancient subject is Egypt. You get to unwrap a mummy — that was really fun.

Loads of interesting things, the kids are really enjOying it and there has been loads to learn. It's great fun.
Sandy It's been fun learning about science and figuring out things I didn't understand. We got to use a hydrophone and listen to different noises animals made.

DOIN’ IT FOR THE KIDS
Re: Kids (572)
How brilliant to see yeu
catering for kids in the last issue. Instead of the Kids section being tucked away With the same couple of events each fortnight. you have expanded it and packed it full of great opportunities for the holiday. A brilliant decision and a nice touch With the inclusion of a hitlist. Thanks LI.st

BIG UP THE SMALL BANDS
The List is a great magazine for finding out what's on in Glasgow and Edinburgh but why don't you reView more EPs’? It would be an excellent
platform for artists in Scotland.
and exposure in their home (3in would be a massive boost for them. It seems to me that you wait for a band to have an album or single released before you give them anything other than a slot in the listings. Big name artists look flashy but they've made it already. Give some smaller home- grown bands a chance.

AL Kennedy was the highlight. You usually only get one token female at comedy nights but it's really good to see them all.

Learning support assistant Very funny. I haven't seen many female comedians before. Male comedians are dirtier.

I'm enjoying myself but we stumbled aeross the night by chance. It's refreshing to see female comedians for a change.

It's the first time I've been here and it was really good. I've never seen any live comedy before.
